We were transferred to Manchester NICU, the follow up care when we returned home was brilliant. A community midwife was with us the following morning. Our care in Manchester was also good, I had a midwife appt there that was arranged back in Lancaster before I was transferred and they called to check, I had been seen once transferred home. The health visitor Lesley Duncan was in touch when we were in Manc and came when when we were home. Her support has been fantastic.

Me, Craigle Tracy Kilpatrick both attended. Fantastic ante and postnatal care. They were extremely supportive of me and my husband, and helped, us to make one care choices that were right for us. Care that enabled and empowered me was really important to help me feel in control and to be calm during pregnancy and labor.Mel and Tracey could not have done more to support this. They are kind and compassionate easy to talk to extremely knowledgeable. Janet Duckworth was also invaluable in liaising with Preston Birth Center to ensure continuity of care. A huge thanks to all involved with our.

Excellent care. I wasn't sure about my skills in breastfeeding and they offered to stay in hospital till I felt safe and confident to do so.

Seeing the same midwives at each appointment is helpful and reassuring. Also, staff at the hospital were lovely and professional.

Very approachable and caring midwives. Clear explanations of what was happening and what the treatment was. Feel cared for and looked after- don't feel anything was too much to ask or that the midwifes only had a limited amount of time to spend with us. Excellent service. Thank you so much!
